Jay Filer
Jay Filer is Chief Executive Officer of Energy Advisors and manages overall firm strategy and new markets. He has over 25 years of experience specifically in the lighting industry in the U.S. including Hawaii.
Jay has detailed knowledge of all aspects of lighting audits, design, specifications, procurement, applications, energy calculations, utility incentives and installation.
Jay has long-standing relationships with established LED manufacturers, which add to Energy Advisors' competitive advantage in the market.
Jay spent over 10 years working in Hawaii's energy efficiency market, and maintains strong relationships with proven, qualified kamaaina contractors and suppliers.
Anthony Amendola
Anthony J. Amendola is Chief Financial Officer of Energy Advisors, LLC. As CFO at Energy Advisors, he is driving an innovative approach to "Efficiency as a Service" (EaaS) and "Renewables as a Service" (RaaS). This approach is similar to Software as a Service and Solar Power Purchase Agreements. The trend is to receive benefit for an improvement without having to expend any capital or take ownership of the equipment.
Anthony has over 30 years of expertise in real estate and energy efficiency industries in the U.S. and Canada and earned his MBA in finance from Carnegie-Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
Samantha Amendola
Samantha Amendola is Director of Business Development working locally on the island of Oahu. She focuses on new business opportunities and company relationships.
Samantha has completed all necessary training as a certified Clean Energy Ally (CEA) of the Hawai’i Energy program. She is the point of contact for Hawai’i Energy’s recent program, the Energy Efficiency Funding Pilot.
